We’ve watched “Ang Panday” at Metro Gaisano Legaspi City last December 29, 2009. There are only 2 movies available that are part of the Metro Manila Film Festival so we’ve chosen Senator Bong’s film over Vic Sotto’s “Ang Darling Kong Aswang”. Below is my initial reaction of the movie plus pizza trip at Mexita! Yummy!

Hindi ko tinapos yung pelikula, hinahanapan ko ng sense, err.
Haha. Kame no choice kase Panday and Ang Darling kong Aswang lang palabas sa Legazpi. hahaha
As usual, this kind of genre movies sa MMFF is still walang kakwenta kwenta..shame on bong revilla’s praises for his movie…duh, panday is still mediocre..just like other bong’s flop movies before..resiklo…whatelse? the movie’s good for the kids but if you really find sense in it…wala!! di ko sya tinapos, i paid 160 sa robinson’s at sising sisi ako bat pa ako nanood..the effects are well, better but not excellent..the cinematography were inconsistent and claustrophobic!! i remember 1 scene where Lizardo made a message outside his castle in front of a million warriors cheering for his weeding..tapos pag makita mo yung laban ni panday against Lizardo’s army, ang kokonti..san na yung mga warriors nya pag kadami dami…eh kasi di pa rin nila kaya gumawa ng makatotohanang epic fight scenes..kagaya ng Red cliff ng china!! bat kaya nanalo si philipp ng award…wala namang kwenta akting nya dun! di sya katakot takot!!! parang gusto nila iproject si Lizardo na demonyo pero di naman!! nananakop lang sila ng mga kokonting tribo sa bukid tapos pag nakapag asta sya buong mundo sasakupin nya!? duh! its really a shame for panday!! better yet, manood na lang ng mga star cinema drama movies, yun yung may mga pinaka sense sa MMFF history…tama ng mga drama ang entries ng star cinema…may sense pa at di sayang sa pera!! tnx
Thanks for dropping by Jing,
Inconsistent nga yung scenes sa movie and mababaw yung story line. hahaha, pero no choice kame ng gf ko dito sa Legazpi… hahaha, mas ayoko naman manood ng darling kong aswang. mas korni ata yun. hahaha.
Yung Avatar, napanood nyo na po ba? Maganda raw eh.
