Maguindanao Massacre Video

by Ronald Redito on November 25, 2009

My Great Web page

A very disturbing news was on TV when I arrived last night from my DILG written exam. It was a massacre and 47 dead (According to ABS-CBN TV Patrol)! And as expected, it was in Mindanao where guns proliferate.

It is expected because elections is fast approaching. It’s less than 6 months before May 2010 elections. Power hungry politicians will use their private armies to silence anyone who will impede their candidacy. And that’s obviously what happened here.
I’ll be posting additional photos…

12 of the victims were journalists, including several members of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines, making this the deadliest such incident in the history of news media.

It is sad to know that these kinds of barbaric acts occur in our country. We pride of democracy but we prove the contrary. These uncivilized acts will drive away possible investors which will definitely affect our poverty stricken economy.

If you are a foreigner, what will be your reaction upon hearing this incident?
