I’ve heard that the deadline of the voters’ registration is on October 31, 2009. COMELEC urged eligible voters to enlist before the nationwide registration ends. My girl friend and her sister registered this afternoon. However until as of this moment I didn’t have the biometrics thing.
Do I still have to re-register for the 2010 Elections? I don’t have the leisure to go to the office because of my hectic schedule.
Luckily, I have read a blog post about this Comelec Online Verification. Good to see that my status is still ACTIVE.
So, how do you verify your Comelec Registration? Simply go to Comelec’s Registration Verification page. Encode your Firstname, Middlename, Lastname and Birthdate, click Find Now and it will tell you your registration details. Registration details include Province, City/Municipality, Barangay, Precinct No., Status and Biometrics Info.
If you are not yet registered or your registration is inactive, you still have until October 31 to register. Registration is available even this coming Sunday for provinces affected by recent calamities.
I urge you especially the first time voters to register! We have the power to choose the next leaders of our country! I firmly believe that there is still hope for our country.

There are many complaints regarding registration, first and foremost is the long line one has to go through, then other haven’t got their names on list. Can the Comelec formulate a better system of registration?
