Congratulations to my sister, Cherrie, who passed the CPA Board Examinations this October 2009!

Finally, we have have a Certified Public Accountant in the family. The Reditos are proud of you!

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,888 out of 6,929 passed the October 2009 CPA board examination given in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo & Legazpi on October 10, 11, 17, & 18, 2009.

The PRC said registration for the issuance of Professional ID card and Certificate of residence will start on Monday, October 26, but not later than November 13, 2009.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

* duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
* current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
* 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
* 2 pieces 1″x1″ picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
* 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
* 1 short brown envelope with name and profession.

Registrants will pay the initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for 2009-2012. successful examinees should personally register and sign in the roster of registered professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees will be held on November 18, 2009, 1 p.m. at the plenary hall of the PICC Roxas Boulevard, Manila.

Registration for membership with the Philippine Institute of CPA Inc. will start on Monday, October 26, 2009.
