Heavy rains brought by tropical storm “Ondoy” flooded Philippine capital Manila and its sounding areas, causing some domestic flights to get canceled and traffic paralyzed on Saturday.
According to Philippine government agencies, heavy rains have poured without let-up in Metro Manila since dawn Saturday, causing massive flooding across the metropolis, and floods have reached chest level in some areas.
Here’s a video of Makati Central Business District’s underpass submerged in water. I have never experienced this when I worked in Makati before.
Metro Manila is flooded and I have heard some students and faculties are stranded in the schools and colleges.
