The Aquino government is once again playing it’s blame game over the failed hostage crisis. The communications group is releasing irreconcilable statements regarding the whereabouts of the President during the duration of the incident.
The most stupid thing to do is to blame and drag the past Arroyo administration over this case. Clearly I can say that this government do not know the word “command responsibility”.
What’s the sense of running in the elections if you will just blame the predecessor everything that fails in your time? It will just reflect how ineffective his leadership skills are (if there are any). It will just show how incompetent Aquino as an individual. It will just open points of comparison between him and Gloria Arroyo.
As the previous spokesperson of GMA said, we have the same PNP who served under her administration; same training, same equipment and almost the same personnel. The only difference is the leadership – we have Noynoy Aquino as president today.
Leadership of Arroyo was proven in a number of similar situations like this such as the Oakwood Munity, Manila Peninsula seige, Taguig RTC hostage taking, Jun Ducat hostage taking and Ces Drilon hostage taking. If you can’t see the difference, then I guess you’re blind or you need to visit your doctor for serious check-up.

I can clearly recall how Arroyo quelled the rebellion in her administration, and how she responded to crises. She is small but terrible, and as fast as lightning. She has proven her leadership on crises. Anyway, it’s premature to appraise Aquino administration but he missed a very good chance to manifest who he is in a crisis, what’s his leadership.
This event was awful..we don’t want this thing to happen again..
